I am almost free for the rest of the summer after these next two weeks. I am going to try and put a small local ride together with you guys just to have a meet up. Nothing formal of course.

I'm trying to put together a little route that'll hit the MA/CT/RI intersection, dip around down south-west before heading towards Newport. I'd like to try it out today assuming the weather holds together.

This is ridiculous. I've got a saved custom route, why can't I use it for turn-by-turn navigation on my phone? Isn't that the point?

Here's what I did today. Nothing very technical and certainly more highway than would be ideal but I enjoyed it and plan on going again. From Putnam at the top left all the way around and down to Rt 2 on the bottom right was full of curves, good road conditions, and minimal traffic. I had Rt 49 and 138 all to myself which was awesome.

I can't go tomorrow, though. Saturdays are it for me.

If anyone's interested I'm going to plan on hitting the same route next Saturday, do as much of it from memory as I can. Down the road I'll probably look for a return that skips 95 but for now, keep it simple.
