Beaver Run is a great track, but its about 600 miles away.

I dont think there is a track day on the 1st (if that is what the "i" stood for). Its a race weekend so there will a school that day and practice in the afternoon.

not a track day but for aschool and i thoughtyou had to just show in the morn and register no pre registration

Well you said Track day.
Yes all you have to do is just show up. You only need to pre resister if you are using their stuff to ensure you they have it for you. I think they start at 8 so I would plan on being there at 7 to take your time setting your stuff up.

Yes take it now. Its one more weekend that you get to race. You can always take the advance course early next year.

I was told by everyone else that you only have to wire the oil drain bolt and change your coolant for water or "waterwetter" and tape your lights. and street tires are ok.
