    I might make it over again this year. It was fun to meet some of the NESR folks last year, but the ride afterward (which I dropped out of) was asking for trouble. I'll know if I can make it as the time gets closer...

    13 of us got tickets in a profiling stop. Cop admitted He dis not see us speed. Kangaroo court found us all guilty despite the fact that the COp admitted he had no idea if we were speeding or not.

    Get this. I even got found guilty and the cop had no record of me even being issued a ticket.

    All on a blue knights run. Picked out of a crowd.

    Fuck the corrupt Orleans police and their court system.

    Luckily. Someone I know took care of the cop.

    The problem was u weren't on a cruiser. I was riding down there with friends that all were on cruisers, and I got a ticket for speeding but I was riding the back of the pack, go figure. The asshole cop didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Just told me to appeal the ticket if I wasn't happy.

    I'm in! Don't trash the Blue Knights. They ALWAYS put on a great event, Rain or Shine. Cops are cops, everywhere you go. I have seen the Cape/State police give a lot of leeway on the day of the Blessing. Ride safe, ride smart, watgatt. It's only the squids that have to worry. Come to the Cape for a great Spring tradition right on the beach. Not your average BOB. Big street bike turn out. Meet at Burger King exit 6, RT6, 9-10AM. Just bring a good attitude.
