Thanks Dave! Good seeing Scotti, Alyssa, Terry, Eric, Rick, Jason, Paul and the new guy I for got your name (Kevin)?
Good ride. Wish the weather had cooperated with us, but it wasn't too bad for the most part. Great seeing everybody!
enjoyed the ride! Great to see some familiar faces and to meet some new ones. shame it was the last one this season. Ride safe everyone
Weather wasn't great, but could have been worse.
Nice day to go for a ride with some great people. Thanks everyone!

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Ten gathered at Seacoast Sport Cycle with expectations of improvements in the weather. I've heard '..an expectation is a resentment under construction.', but we all had a desire to believe what the pundits had said and that west and north lay the way to all skys blue!
With Kenn assuming sweep duty, several regulars and a couple new folks, we made our way through the "Derry" gauntlet of lights and cagers without incident and soon enough stopped at the Rowell Covered Bridge in Hopkington. By now, those of us with heated gear were wondering how those without were fairing! Most responses were positive so a quick picture and off we went.
We stopped for a picture at one more Covered Bridge and then did 'drive bys' for a total of 7 by the end of the ride! (Less than 1/2 what we normally bag on this ride... )
The weather was not improving as we headed north and west. Although it was not raining, there was a constant mist in the air that gathered on windscreens and face shields with the exact same effect as rain. And the temperature was close enough to the dew point, at least on the inside of my helmet, to create fog that coated the inside of my face shield!
When we stopped for gas I asked Jason if he'd ever dropped his 'Wing'. He promptly tipped it over on it's side in order to demonstrate the method for uprighting a Goldwing. (I gotta say, as he laid it gently down I heard 'HUMP DAY' in my head as it looked a lot like a camel kneeling to receive a rider!) I was very impressed by how easily Jason lifted his ride. And, at one point in the ride he was right behind me and I got to see how nimble it was in his capable hands!
Eventually we found ourselves in Harrisville and warmed up with great conversation and comfort foods. The Harrisville Country store has a nice selection of soups, sandwhichs and burgers. There was an "Fall Foliage Art Tour" taking place in the Monadnock region and there were many visitors in Harrisville and that made for some interesting conversation! If you're looking for something to do today (Sunday) to fill up your time before the Pats game this would be a great thing to do with the family.
After a few more pictures we headed back toward Goffstown for the rest an abrieviated ride. The weather continued to be raw and damp but the roads were mostly clear of leaves and peepers so the rest of the ride was enjoyable and the pace was mostly dictated by conditions and not drivers!
Thanks all for joining this ride and for riding well! And thanks Kenn for a great job as sweep...it makes everything so much easier!
While there are no more 'Seacoast' rides scheduled I expect to get out a few more times before the season ends. Hopefully we can get a few NESR's together before the snow flies...!

From where I sit, today doesn't really look any better than yesterday...
...some consolation I guess!
