Do we have all the info yet? I have to work that night so I'll have to bail out reasonably early but still will attend.

i'm not sure yet. who's going? i know that the berkshires are really nice but it would be nice if we could find a route that would be more centrally located for everyone. i'm guessing it will take me about an hour and a half to get to springfield. if not, we can stick with the original plan

    About the 6/6 girl's ride

I don't know about taking another route....I already figured a whole route for the day.... and I don't have a single clue of any good roads elsewhere. It's also kind of disapointing riding on unknown roads if they are not as nice as what you're used to ride. lol I will look up the map and see if there is any scenic roads in Worcester area. I only know I don't want to ride any cities and busy areas, I'd like to go where there is real scenic views (mountains, lakes or rivers along the roads, etc. ) and not busted with too much traffic and houses! Court, if you know of really nice roads like that in your area, maybe going up North, let me know. I'm open to change the route plans if you can show us some good stuff!!

    About the 6/6 girl's ride

I had made this big long reply last night but when I went to post it, I got an error message and lost the whole post... grrrrr.

Anyway, the reason I wasn't able to get the day off work next sunday is because this week marks the one year anniversary of a murder of a girl we worked with. It was a year ago this week and we're having a big memorial service. The people that were really close to her took a bunch of time off and the rest of us are picking up the hours. So through no fault of my own, I have to work.

As for alternate routes. How about the Mohawk trail or Mt. Wachusett? It's only $2 to get to the summit and it would be a great place to stop.

I know I helped pick the date for this ride and still will be able to attend for most of the day. I am, of course, sorry for any inconveience.

Courtney, you don't have to apologize. And if it makes that ride to "tight" in time for you, maybe we can still change the date. After all, doesn't make a difference to me, and it seems that of the 5-6 girls that were suppose to join, there is only 3 of us trying to make it now....(you, Patricia and myself). I'm not sure if Tigre78 is joining, haven't heard from her in a while, but would love to see her join the ride, she's a great rider. Route 2 sounds good, is it as nice in your area that it is in the west area (Berkshires?), I wouldn't mind to ride the whole route up to west! LOL Riding a mount is also a nice idea (ugh....hills WITH curves, I'm gonna DIEEE!!!! ) haha!!
