Rear brake is now 100% repaired and in perfect working order. Directionals are all running, headlights check. Horn- check.
Only thing I can not get to work is the magnet/transmitter for the speedo, may have to order a new wire.
Overall beside being an ugly street fighter for now the SV is in good shape, runs/rides sweet! Only thing left to do is fab the Licence Plate bracket at work tomorrow, get to registry and then Insp. So it will be ready for the Gap! :hellyeah:

What do you mean by room for 1 more? Work is slow, and I haven't been to Deals Gap since June.
All I have to do is load up the BMW with clothes and ride down. At least from MD it will be a nice easy ride. Im thinking of taking the scenic route through the mountains.
Dude, aren't you getting married or something?
If so, this is about the best reason every to ditch it :D
you dont need a speedo to pass inspection. whos gonna check to be sure it even works?
and with that said, no one down at the gap is gonna know you need an inspection sticker. just register it so you can ride it down there and deal with the speedo later

anyone know approx what time we will back 9/9? i might have to work on that day in order to make this trip
Yeah I'm not too worried about the inspection sticker or speedo.
If you have to be back to work sunday you can leave friday & ride home!
We'll figure it out. What time would you have to work? The day? We would have to leave either friday night or early saturday. Pretty sure we need to be out of the house by 10 or 11 saturday anyways. Then figure approx 15 + hrs drive home
Sweet.
Airbags for the truck came in today. Installing them tonight.
What is your schedule? I remember seeing your thread once before, but can't find it now.
Leaving Friday, the 31st after work. Get there mid day Saturday .
Leave Saturday mid-day. Get home early Sunday.
Make sure plates are not tucked behind your wheel. Thats an easy ticket.... Dont cross the doubles with a trooper around either. Just in case theres any first timers there.... Have fun
This thread will be a big fail if there aren't pictures of cool haircuts and bikes crossing rivers...oh, and a 5 gallon wash bucket full of a huge mixxed drink! Have fun down there, wish I could join but it's to close to a Hatfield & McCoy dirty trip a few weeks later....
Yes, getting married and buying a house.. can't make the Deals trip. But I'm +1 on Hatfield w Joel!
I will be riding to Deals again next June, staying at Iron Horse Lodge in Robbinsville.
Mark Brian and Joel, get your priorities in order.. DEALS GAP FIRST, life sometime after....
Brian we will call it your bachelor party.
Mark, this really is not an issue.... You know you need a drunking haircut after a sloppy half ass burn out in the garage!!!
Were the "F" is Mr. AWESOME??? Hello we leave in 2 weeks....
Airbags are in. Finally can ride level with the cap on it!
