Been spending some time giving my drz400 some lov'in. Its been treating me good all season except for this annoying drivability issue its had since I bought it. Pretty sure I narrowed it down to the pilot jet circuit being clogged and Ive managed to miss it the last 2 times I had the carb off the bike.

Any interest in looking at this thing on the trip back?

I ran the dragon today in my hyundai elantra. I was in Myrtle Beach on vacation and figured what the hell. Few t storms wet the road down on our way through. Lots and lots of Harleys. Cops within 1 mile of the beginning (after the tree of shame/motel...). They bagged a Harley for yellow line crossing it looked like. More than a few motards ripping it up also. Someone on a multi who was dragging knee on a wet corner.

Dead end BBQ in Marysville TN is highly recommended. Enjoy your rides. All the roads around are absolutely gorgeous. Rt28 was awesome, almost as twisty as the dragon itself. Be safe.

Ps, after the scenic overlook it's another few miles till the twists stop, but when they do you'll be along a river, cops set up there in pairs about a half mile apart. I'm sure they're waiting for a goose to chase. Just FYI.

Bagging a harley for crossing the line while motards rip in the background is okay by me. My perception was they were stopping for less egregious offenses last year. Although we didn't get much more than a few dirty looks.

Those locals know the business end of an apex. My first day there we sampled the Dragon. I thought I was moving pretty good until I glanced in my rearview and saw the grill of an F250 jammed up my ass. I couldn't bear the shame of letting him pass, so instead I was that guy and held him up.

If you didn't take the Cherry Cola to Telico Plains TN, you did it wrong.
If you did, you went right past the house these toads are renting.

Didn't make it down that way. We are in Knoxville for the night. Making the drive to Danbury CT tomorrow, hopefully catch some of the blue Ridge Pkwy on the way. We took 129 up to Knoxville, Tellico is South.

Agreed on the trucks. I was pushing my elantra around corners it's got no business on, and passing me were f250 diesels. Lol. Crazy bastards.

We're back. Mint week. No wrecks (in our group), light traffic, no tickets, tons of good riding, swimming in the river, not much rain, turrets guy.

Can't wait to go back.
