I can pretty much promise ya that just about ANY stock truck would beat mine in a drag race on pavement. Now if we were to go off-roading, Barnstead style. :D I'll even bring the Soob...:twofingerQuote:
Hey there big guy, I'll race the big rig in my dakota..............:D
I seriously have no idea what either machine can do so it would be interesting.........
Ne dragway will even accomodate "private races" to get the crowd into it.
I'll trailer the bike up race it a few times and then race the trucks...........
Hey there stoner,
"offroading barnstead style???"
You just want me there so when you blow the tire there will be someone there to change it:twofinger
A.K.A. Butthole surfing? :twofingerQuote:

i live to serve, sir. :D
Ok, I'm so there next time.
It's actually starting to bug me, I feel like I can't launch worth a crap, and there aren't even that many roads around here that are actually straight enough and deserted enough to practice.
Believe it or not I actually feel like I can't bend my wrist enough to hit WOT and still feel like I'm in control of the bike.
Ben
Route 93 is good for practicing if your crazy like myself. just wait for when there is not much traffic, in the mornng head north, in the evening head south. pull into that extra lane for traffic overflow and have a good time. i practice timing in there by watching a car coming up in my mirror and trying to get the launch sync'd with the exact moment we are head to head, and then i pass them .
its fun being nuts some times.

Yea Baby!
Everyone is quiet today.. not much thread bastardization or anything...

Same here... fricken busy and the boss is lurking...
You don't need much more than an eighth of a mile to practice your launches. If that's all you're practicing, you don't even need to shift. Which means on an SV, you'll be doing what? 20? :DQuote:
