HP & Fuel vs speed
call for price on tuning, appointments also required for tuning.
I was told about this by Shane Narbone's father, who I met last night at motorcycle night. A really great guy. For those of you that don't know/know of Shane, he's a 16 year old racer that began roadracing last year and is doing incredibly well at the expert level. He was mentioned in this months roadracing world as one of the young up 'n comings.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
$20? wow.. i'll have to call him to see how much any tuning would cost. thanks for the heads up.
just got off the phone with someone from DAS. i'm definitely going up there saturday for the HP dyno. it starts at 11am and food and drinks are available around noon.
I'd imagine I'm going to go anyway due to the price but I didn't catch last night that they aren't going to hook up the wire into the ignition to measure RPM.
I would much rather see the dyno with the RPM information so I know if I do need to tune anything. Maybe I can twist their arm for an extra $10 or something.
no tq reading either.. but for 20 bucks, it'll give me a good hp baseline before i jet it.
I'll probably be up for at least taking a ride up. I'm wondering what kinda power the 929 puts out.
Ben, I'm guessing for a few bucks more he can hook up the RPM's.
oh, everyone tell 'em I/NESR/low down sentcha!

does anyone around here have wheelie dyno?
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Holy money maker Batman, I was thinking of investing in one of these until the guy who makes them wanted me to drop 30k, But If I had it at the time it would have paid for itself in one season.

Oxx, man I'm no wheelie expert but it's a good thing you're on a trailer there...with form like that you'd be crashing the hell out of that bike in every picture.

well you dont have the wind to help "keep it up" and with the brake on the drum its like trying to do a wheelie while dragging the brakes. you had to lean back pretty far. after a while i got way better at it and wasnt leaning back but standing straight up "like youre supposed to". i even started using the back peg on the left. that helped alotOriginally posted by hessogood
