That ZX10R looks very mean. I like the fact that it uses a simple one color paint scheme. Much nicer than the graphics used on, say, a Gixxer...

I agree. the Ducati, VFR and the Superhawk were the same way...all one color...looks really good. I saw one of the new all blue CBR RR's when i was in CA last week...Very hot looking...

finally got on the net. same here, great ride overall. i was out like a light as soon as got home and all sore. only thing for me was that bumpy rhodes were hard on the new bike but rides pretty well. think i need to soften up the spring rates and fix that twitchy bar. forgot to note the total mileage. as of right now she's all broken in, over 900, and ready for oil change. i was out riding little bit today.

im ready for another.

oh and Wayne, dont worry. ill try harder to keep the bitch in one piece.

Great Pics. I think your did great riding yestarday. Don't be too anxious ta keep up with the lead. This is where bad things happen.

I love your F4i. Next time maybe we could swap off for a few miles.

Thanks a lot Wayne. it means a lot coming from someone with as much seat time as you. i am very pleased with myself. I wholeheartely understand your comments about keeping pace with the lead. the biggest thing i've learned about group rides is to ride at your own pace, the group will always wait...i didn't find that I scared myself...the times when i did keep up i felt comfortable about doing so. there was a stretch on the way home when we got slit up because of the "spirited pace" and some traffic and i found my self alone for a little bit. the lead pack was up ahead and you and Gary were behind. i didn't feel good about making the pass given the road i had so i didn't...shortly thereafter the road cleared and we all were back together..(i think it was just before the 2nd to last stop we made as a full group) i also heeded your warnings about 31. i loved the road but was constantly reminding myself to be careful as there are some blind hill corners, which my inexperience might not be ready for. All in all, i thought it was great ride with a great group, any of which I'd be happy to ride with again.

PS. i think something can be arranged....does that mean i could take the RR??? cause that is an ultra hot bike!!

Yeah, Tim, I would second what Wayne has already said. Don't ever be ashamed to ride at your own pace. I don't get the impression that anyone associated with NESR would give you a hard time about that. Besides, you seemed to have kept up quite well.

I'm looking forward to riding with you again!
