Mark, where is the Saturday dinner, and can I still attend I'd I can talk my friends into it?

Ah, damn, only saw this post now. I saw you and Mick out in the parking lot just before the dinner started, but then you took off again. We always figured on a few walk-ins, so yeah, you absolutely would have been welcome. Shame you missed it; food was excellent and a great time was had.

But there's always next year!

We did pull into the parking lot and noticed that folks had just started lining up at the buffet. We wouldn't have been able to eat with you because we were already stuffed from our excellent Mexican food dinner at the place around the corner. I hadn't heard back from you so we went there.

The reason we took off was that the couple following us had gotten nicked by Bennington's finest. We did find them, and returned to Bennington Station. The rider didn't get ticketed for his "Freedom ride" around the corner, as if seems the cop was really trying to stop Mick thinking he was riding without eye protection because his Boxer Roof helmet had the chinbar in the up position.

It's all good. You guys had a GREAT turnout, though I suspect a lot of fair-weather riders never even left home.
