F'n COLD!!!!!!!!!!

So, I thought it would be a good idea to ride to work today despite the fact that the temp was 29F......

I got here to work over an hour ago and I'm still trying to thaw myself. Additionally, my glasses and faceshield were covered with condensation from the damn fog. Not only was I freezing, but I couldn't see a damn thing!!!!!! So much for my bright idea....Hopefully the ride home will be better.

After 110+ mile commute to work yesterday and Monday, I decided to take the truck to work today so I could grab breakfast on the way.

Once I get a new jacket that isn't the equivalent of swiss cheese I'll be riding again. Was it really 29 this morning? The news kept saying it was in the low 50's, but I knew that was a pile of happy horseshit.

My thermometer on my back steps said 35* when I let the dog out this morning.

you're crazy John. I had ice on all of my car windows and mirrors this morning @ 6:30 when I left for work. It was way too cold to ride in today.

Yes it was cold this morning. My commute is only about 20 minutes though.

Just wearing the leathers(non-perf'd) makes a huge difference. I just wear my work clothes underneath and peel when I get there.

I had Kevlar gear up until this year... And to think I suffered all those years being freezing cold... and bundled up in lots of layers not making a difference. The key was the leather completely sealing against the wind from blowing through anywhere.

I hope to still ride up until December or so.

Yah! I know it's crazy. But, it's been raining for so fukkin long and I really wanted to ride. The Duc was a bit stubborn, this morning. I rode particularly fast just because I wanted to get inside and thaw my frozen fingers and legs. It is time for leather pants!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're all talking about last night about 9:00pm I had to roll my car window up about half way It was only 65 degrees. Then this morning it's only around 68 so I put on long pants.

Did I forget to mention I'm in California? Sure gets cool in the mountains near San Diego.

Oh well tonight I'm going to drive to Pheonix where it's a little warmer.




I think I'm too close to Mexico.
