11/11 (Saturday) ride

Who's up for one? Supposed to be pretty decent in the am, with clouds rolling in in the afternoon.

I'd be up for leaving from anywhere within a 75 mile radius of Blackstone. (I hate riding 2 hours just to get to the starting point.)

We still need a starting point. (this usually determines who's riding)

To be honest, I don't want to be the ride organizer/planner. I suck at leading. I'm a born ride follower.

OK, first off then, meeting place? Who's considering coming, then we'll pick a central location. I was thinking somewhere like the junction of the Mass Pike & 495. Maybe further eastward.

Anyone else have any ideas on meeting place?

Im definately in on this one, were to go were to start im with chuck on this i cant plan worth a shit. Besides the only place i ride is in the city and i dont think anyone wants to do that for the day. So just say when and were and ill be there.

I was thinking meet 10:00am, since the chance of rain increases the later it gets.

Well i work right down the street from there. You will pretty much ride by it if you are going down 105. I wont know until tomorrow but I can always try to catch up as well.

Wow, 105 is out in the sticks, eh? (starts in Halifax & heads south) Might be a little far south for those coming from the Worcester or Boston areas.

Ye but its a good ride. From Lakeville to Marion its a nice little back road through the woods and then if you guys have time ride over the bridge and hit the nice goat path I took Kurt down in Falmouth but it makes for a long day. Last time we started around 10:30 and got home around 4:00

That could be cutting it close to rain time,... i dont mind freezing but rain is a whole other beast. Although it does sound like a nice ride. Who knows it might not even rain afterall, its new england weather changes by the minute.

I'm definitely down for it. I took the CBR off the stands. I even changed the clutch cable (trying to see if one of my bike issues is a stretched cable or a worn clutch.) and a ZG double bubble windscreen. (I'm tired of my head getting whipped back while riding on the highway.

I would only be able to ride in the morning...but I am going to a house party Friday night and that usually means I won't want to wake up early...

Someone figure out the details and I'll keep checking back on this thread.

I kno that back road you are talkin about....its not too bad....the road is a bit cramped but during the weekends not many cars use it

I don't know the 105 route, so someone who does will have to be there.

Im unsure yet but the chances are I wont be able to make it. Ill find out tonight when I go to work if there is work tomorrow. There usually is but its also a holiday weekend so theres no telling what they will do.

And the crowd gets smaller,... Im not gonna miss the chance for one more nice ride this season, ill be there! Hopefully more people will post tonight theres still time...its gonna be 58 tomorrow!

Chuck if duey doesnt make this we can meet in the middle somewere and ride ourselfs two old men on a mission!

We'll see. So far, it's just you & I. Actually, even if Duey joins in, I could still head your way and ride some of the stuff you or Duey do.

i'm good for this ride! Steve call me in the morning. I may or may not already be up, i may be hanging out a DD in malden so i can get some coffee in my system for the ride. Give me a call when you see this post so we can set something up and meet in the morning.
