Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Sept 20, 21 and 22 - Daks Ride (limit to 10!)

I want to start planning for the 2013 DST (Daks Sport Tour!). This is a moderately paced, 3 day ride, leaving from House of Pancakes in Bedford NH at 7:00am on Sept 20th. We will spend 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid (518)523-2556. I just got AAA rate of $169.00/night for 2 doubles and $182.00/night for 2 doubles with lake view. You are responsibile for making roomate plans and reservations!

The cancellation policy is 1 week in advance so we'll watch the weather (yeah...I said it!) and as long as we have a reasonable probability that we'll see greater than 50% decent riding we'll go. But if it looks like a hurricane is bearing down I'll make every effort to cancel in time to avoid a penalty!

It's been close to a year since I looked at the Adirondack maps. Today while looking at old and new routes I can already tell this will be another great trip. If you haven't been, this is an easy way to explore it as all you have to do is follow along behind a leader. This year, like the previous ones, will be a nice mix of twisty roads, sight seeing, good food and good laughs with fellow riders. I the DAKs and this trip is always a favorite ride of the season for me. 2 more open slots so send Dave a message and c'mon along to the DAKs!
