My first Gap ride, after being awake for 30 hours and 900 miles of travel, a few of us rode the dragon today. Motarded, I love motards... maybe the Rsizzouse will see the dragon tomorrie if it's not raining.... if it is raining, it'll be beer thirty all day long

rain rain go away. I been up since 5am prayin to the rain gods (and typing my final paper). Well it looks like the rain is not stopping so mixing my oj with vodka!!!

slept in a little today, once the rain stopped we squeezed in 140 miles the other 1/2 of the day. Kick ass day.

1/2 our group hit the gravel Dragon and the others stuck on the paved roads. Great day minus one downed bike.. All is well person and bike are fine just some cosmetic damage and a busted foot peg. Bike is fixed and 100% ridable! It was not a NESR member, just a friend of one.

Weather the rest of the week is looking good, hopefully we can log on some good mileage rides! GA tomorrow if the weather allows..

this is the first year down here with my Pirelli MT60Rs made the gravel dragon much better, and they are also much stickier than the Azaro STs for the paved dragon, got a run in on both today In the morning changed my Azaro wheels for my Pirelli wheels

I hung in the back all day today, sorry Mike, I was wrong, we did 271 miles today and not 250 Gotta keep the rpm's up in the 6 in this type of country... just doing some quick math here and got about 26mpg

What a great day we had today. I hope everyone agree's..

Went down to GA and did a whole string of twisties!
Like Tully said we did 270 miles, but I felt like we did a 400+ miler to VT. It was seriously non stop twisties! I already spent my rear tire, I may make it through tomorrow If I play nice. A new Power is all ready to be mounted

I suck at riding around here. It was wet yesterday so I took it real easy so I didn't crash like I do at the track.

I've been trying to keep up with mycirus all week and I can't seem to do it. I think I have lost my edge and will probably sell my bike when I get back. It's just to nerve racking for me these days. I guess it happens to the best of us huh?

Hmmmm after a late night of drunkiness a bunch of us slept in, then went off to rip throught the dragon about 4 times! I can finally get my knee down in a few spots Bruce got video proof, plus I am pretty sure Killboy got a real shot in his corner.
We had franks and beens for lunch then ventured out on the bikes to get Booze in Bryson city about 45 minutes away due to the fact the area we are in is a dry county.

Tomorrow might be rained out, so a drunkin night tonight. KB made up everclear and fruit punch, I had one of those and now onto my Bacardi Select and Pepsi

Possibly taking the truck to TN to find a bke shope so a few guys can buy leather riding pants, then find a local shoe show!

back on the road again after a breakdown in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. I musta forgot to torque down one of the rear brake caliper bolts when I did my wheel swap. the group made a turn that I missed

Jamie chased me down, when I hit my brakes, the rear was only held in place with the brake line, the caliper started to spin when it was applied, ripped off the brake line then when the caliper hity the swing arm, it snapped from it's axle mount then flew out into the rim, putting a big gash in my rim

had a truck there to rescue me within 2½ hours, and was able to drop the bike off at Wheeler's before he closed for the day

picked it up today, good as new at noon time. did a bunch of errands and got out to ride about 4pm

took the gravel road to Teleco Plains, the 360 to 129 and back thru the Dragon, Joyce Kilmer Road to the house just as it was getting dark at 8:30pm about a 150 mile loop of which 60 was gravel

Did it bind up the rear and lock it, or just fell off, bounced through the rim, and then out onto the road?

After sleeping in a major hangover today, Jay, Mike and myself spent a couple hours at Wheelers changing tires from last nights fun and then made a few laps on the Gap... good times for sure

It was even a good night tonight

We had a war zone last night with only one injured soldier. Sometime in the night there was an incident which left one soldier injured with shrapnal and a busted up machine.
