This is the route I had planned on taking up to the track. Thanks for for the pm btw...

From MM, we can take 119 west to 13 north (most of the way up) then onto 89 south for a sort distance then to 393 also a short distance, this takes you to rt 106 North. The track is on 106 maybe ten miles up on the right. There really is no other good route with out going way around concord. (btw this route takes apprx 2 hours at a responsible speed!


so... what time are we meeting at MM?

Races start at 12pm ish, go on until 5 ish.

humm in the other thread patricia said it only takes an hour to get to the track from MM. we probably won't be late if we leave later.

I'm going to double check and see how long it really takes but I think if we leave MM at 10 we should be fine.

I was a bit conservative when I said 2 hours!
If the speed is 5-10 over the speed limit it would take 1 1/2 hours.
If you go all out it can be done in an hour I guess? I never pushed my luck on the way up there because I was leading groups. I dont want to be responsible for a costly trip to the track for others!!

I ussually try to leave no later than 10:30 but like to leave @ 10 and have time to play with as well as get inside the track prior to the start of the first race, which is ussually at 12 on the dot..

yes, but you would have to be there EARLY for training (like 8am)

Yeah, remember that when everybody is having fun at Stonnerstock on a saturday night and I get to bed at 4am drunk as a fool then have to get up for 7am practice at the track. Lap times tend to go down a couple of seconds that Sunday every year.

Ok, I talked to some of my friends that live in CT. 10am is too early for us to get to MM. We were thinking more like 11am. We can do a couple things. We can have to separate rides and meet up somewhere at the track or, we can have a little later of a ride that meets at 11am. The races last until 5 so I don't think we'll miss much if we show up late. What does everyone think?

It's not for me that we have a later meeting time, I'm a morning person. It's for the people that live in central CT. They're going to have to wake up really really early if they wanted to make it to Acton by 10AM.
