My hello ladies ride...Aug 9

I'll be there rain or shine. May be a good idea to do another 'who's going' rider list now that we're a day or two away.

My place is 50 mins from the ride meeting location (route 11 to 104) I currently still have 1 bed, 3 recliners, one pull out couch available for crashing fri night before the ride for people not wanting a long ass morning ride. PM me for directions #'s etc.

Im still in, just still working out the details on if I want to head up that way tomarrow or do it all on saturday. If I do ride up tomarrow Ill most likely need a place to crash/shower since Im not fond of the idea of 150+ for a hotel room for the night when its not a ramada or hilton.

I am still planning on coming. Since the weather is what it is, I will be on my
Ducati (stored in Mass) as I'm not up for riding in the rain from RI to Mass on Friday and then the rain on Saturday. The Ducati prevents my riding with rain
gear as I have no bags to store it and I'd rather ride wet than hot. (But have
no fear, I wear ATGATT)

I may make it a shorter day and break off around 2:00 to head back to Mass.

Its interesting, but not surprising, how many guys have piled on to this 'Ladies' ride.

And so far, it looks to me like 5 guys to 4 chicks at the party! Probably not what the guys were hoping for but good for the girls!

(I'll be riding through Deerfield sort of early Sunday morning...might be fun to make a little noise in front of your house!!!)

I'll keep watching the weather before I say yay or nay. Not really liking what I see so far. Rediculous actually. Weather for Manchester looks decent, but for my location, I'm getting soaked.

If I'm not at the diner around 0900 then I came across a washed out road or bailed.

doh...no, cbr_chick_nh pointed out that she is in DEERING not DEERFIELD! Not really close.

However, next weeks ride to Curtis Ribs could easily go RIGHT BY! Maybe we'll wake her up then!!!

Nikon,

I just took a closer look at your route (punched it into Streets & Trips) and it looks like it works out really well.

If tanks are filled at Irving, like you recommended, we can make it all the way around your first loop to Lincoln before a gas stop (100 miles). That's also back into civilization at around noon so a good location for food. After lunch it's another 100 mile loop that ends in pushing distance of Irving again.

If you planned it this way ... you're good!

I'm sure you already know it, but 25C must've taken it pretty hard Thursday afternoon. 10 & 25C in Piermont were still closed when I came home from work this morning. I guessing alot of 25C is going to be fresh gravel and I'd avoid it...if it's open yet.
