Huge group ride Sept 24?

I'll be giving the route a run through on Thursday morning...seeing as I'm on vacation and all!! Oops...did I just say that? I will post up as to the road conditions.

Sarah, let me know if any roads suck so we can adjust the route accordingly...

I am not very familiar with some of the roads from the meet spot I just picked out the most direct off the main drag way to get us to the good stuff quicker!

I was planning on noting all road conditions, and if needed, will make recommendations/changes. Hey, it's a tough job, but I know...someone's gotta do it!!

cancel the order and go to a stealership with one in stock, also to call up a previous question, will 2 way radios (motorola 5 mile range) be able to use the same frequency?

Does anyone know how long it would take to get there from N.H. Portsmouth area? and is anyone going from that area that wants to ride w/someone?

Given the time of day, traffic should be minimal so I assume you would slab it from 95 -> 495 -> 90 (Mass pike). With a reasonable highway speed you should be able to make the trip in about 2.5 hours, possibly a little less.

I'm heading out on Friday so I can not make the trip out with you, but if you do not mind some additional riding after lunch, I will eventually be riding back to Ipswich Saturday afternoon which is only about 25 minutes south of Portsmouth.

There's a group of us meeting at the Mass Pike, rt 20/146 Park & Ride. You will be riding right past there, feel free to join in. We are meeting at 6:30 and leaving at 6:45. (Need to be in Westfield by 8:00 for steak & eggs!!)
