Is there an actual start address and end address to this ride yet?
This is a one-day ride... some people are just heading out there & staying somewhere the night before.... we get up in the AM, get together in Springfield, ride 3-400 miles & go home our separate ways... Unless someone wants me to go home w/ them or vise versa![]()

Where are all the people from the Motomart- 128-93 and rt2 area meeting up to head out to the main meeting spot...?
There are people meeting at MotoMart, there are people meeting at MotorSports International in Aubur, we should meet at the Charlton rest stop on the Mass Pike. We all have to pass that on the way to Springfield!
This thread is huge so I won't read it all. I will just say count me in for one of the faster groups.![]()

2004 Mini Cooper - Deal's Gap tested and approved
Guys on sportbikes are so hot....until they take their helmet off. Just leave the damn thing on already!
Beware the counterfeit Mini!
I'll have my chatterbox. KB and JB have them if they're coming.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I'm debating on heading up the night before... Jen can't make it so I could take my truck and trailer and three other bikes in a safe enclosed trailer if I find other peeps interested in the idea and to pay for diesel fuel. Let me know if there's any interest.. if not I may just hyper slab it the morning of the event.

Sorry I have been away from the comp for a few days. Auburn is like fourty five to an hour away from me. If It is right off of the pike then I guess that isn't a big deal. Did you decide if you were riding back or not. I can't afford a room somewhere.

This is definately the largets and longest ride that I will have ridden on. I am so much looking forward to this! Does anybody have any helpful hints for me or anyone else who may be a group ride virgin? What to bring, what not to bring, what size whips, whistles chains, handcuffs, etc.??
(P.S...I just bought a FRS-X2 Chatterbox!!)
- cash
- map
- fully fueled bike (with tires that have some meat left to them)
- cash
That should do it.
Oh, and a clear shield.

I was wondering about that. I have a blue metallic shield but alternate clear at night. You would suggest clear only?Originally posted by ChR1s

Sunset is @ 7:15 today. It's getting dark by 7:30 now, and will only get earlier. You'll have your back to the sun in the AM & PM if you're coming from the eastern part of the state. The killer is the glare before the sun goes down. I wouldn't think you'd be out that late, but some others may have a longer ride to deal with.Originally posted by BusaBoy

re: CASH
Cash makes paying for meals easier with a large group, and you can also speed up the refueling process if you pool together at the pumps. Carrying small bills helps.

As much as I'd like to go on this ride, I don't think I'll be able to make it. I go to Mass Maritime Academy which is like a type of military school and I'm stuck here on the 24th (at least for the A.M.). So unless I can slab it up north from Bourne, MA and catch up to you guys, I don't think I'll be able to go.![]()

No they dumped the Patriot state like 7 years ago, Antonelli left five years ago, and the whole school has been co-ed since I got their in 2000. When it went totally co-ed I don't know.Originally posted by 01YZF6
