Hey bud! Welcome to the board!!

There are a lot of Mass. & NH members that get together and ride. Track day was today at NHIS.

More and more I see people from the southern part of New England logging in.
Hope you can make some of our rides.

How long do your figure from Long Island to MA/NH border?

Conn. and RI guys have a better idea about twisties in their area.

In NH we have LOTS of twisties. From my house to the track is 40 mins. of nothing but.

The rides get going latter in the week. Usually confirmed Friday afternoon.

I'm thinkin' rt 2 across the top of Mass, beet may be able to show us a good road.

i'm just so bored with the riding down here. so much traffic and the cops suck!
road up to canada 3 weeks ago for 4 days 1000 island area and had a blast great twisties and only saw two cops the entire time!!

Welcome to the board. I am originally from LI. On a good day with your bike you can make it up to Mass/NH in 3 hours. If you just want to get up here quick the trip out will suck but once you get here it will be well worth it. My normal route up is Throgs - 95 N - 91N - 84E - 90E (mass pike). Once your here then you can either come up 495 to NH or east/west for Mass.

Western Mass is awesome for riding. If you want to go their I would go 91N right to Rt.2. The western side is where all the fun is. The eastern side towards boston is pretty boring. If you take Rt.2 towards Berkshires/Albany you will hit twisties that will make a grown man cry. I was on them a couple of months ago. Freshly paved and nothing in the road. Not to mention the scenic view is awesome. If you plan a weekend to come up I'm sure you can find a couple of guys to meet up with that will want to ride. And I hear you about LI. I won't even bring my bike down there. Just too many damn people.

My zip code is 03060/03031 There are some great roads all over southern NH.

If you're coming out of NYC I like the Hutchinson parkway and the Meritt parkway once you get into CT, that will dump you off near New Haven I think, and then you can get onto the slab.

Speed limit on the parkways seems to be 30-55, but the cars do like 60-80 so you can have plenty of fun. There are constant hills and a few decent curves.

    Non issue.

Some of the towns these roads are in don't even have a fuckin local Police dept for Chrisakes. Just got to watch for those SLEO's s= state.

Its not like I said were riding them at 8:30 this Saturday morning or anything. Geeze Gerard, they know more roads and places to hide than we do.

    fixed now

Essex County, NY has some kickass county roads, I ride over there from the NH/ME border (4hrs all twisties thru NH & VT to Crown Point Bridge) then 3-4 hours riding, then 4 hrs back.

The Merrit takes you a couple mile short of Hartford. Jump onto 91 north, go 84 to 90 to 95 if you wanna visit me..got some nice twisties up my way, or if you just want to tour Salem Ma. and check out the "Witch City" (01970)

I used to be able to make it to the Throgs neck bridge in 3hrs 15min. This is from Danvers Ma. 01923
