Great surprise today. Went out on my own, and ran into the group at lunch. Thanks for letting me tag along. The Mt. Washington rain will make today one of those days you will never forget. Friggin awesome!

She almost came with me. She just opted out last minute to go do some clothes shopping for a wedding we are going to next weekend.

Finally made it to an HMR ride! The last three years (or so), other commitments seem to crop up, but not this year.

There are always new roads and interesting stops that Dave finds. Great folks show up for the ride. It all adds up to classic summer memories.

Dave, Rob, Guy: thanks for keeping a smooth running show.

Colin: it’s great reliving the experience with the video. Thanks for the pictures too.

Just rolling with the changing weather made me realize one habit that I need to change:

leaving the helmet face up and lid flipped open is asking for rain (or bird poop) to drop in.

It was down. I edited the post to fix the link. I am moving all my videos from one account to another.

The ride down was really that photo of the clouds and rain over and over again for a while. Pretty hairy.

Can't wait for 2014... Last year was a blast... I bailed with a few others before the ride to the summit. Later in the year I hit up Mt.Washington and I regret not doing it with the group.

This year, I'm in for the whole day. Gotta post that sign-up sheet .
