fyi - I got tossed from a Toyota event once for squeeling tires. They gave us a ton of trucks, pointed us at a sea of cones (looked like an autocross course to me)and said compare the handling. They apparently didn't mean handling at the limit

Hey Dave, quick ques?? Are there highways planned in the route, and is mt Washington in the route? Trying to decide wether to ride the ducati which isn't geared well for the highway or the comfy cruiser with a weak clutch!! Haha
The only 4 lanes may be at the end of the ride...if it's late and need to close the gap to my 5:30 pumpkin time! Mt Washington is possible but, again, depends on weather and time. However, I'm pretty sure you're better off on your Duc than a cruiser...!
Also, thanks to Rob for reminding me, if we do the Mt Washinton Auto Road, it's $15.00 CASH for motorcycles. And the snack bar at the summit is CASH only too.....!!!!
Finally, if you're on the list and not planning or unable to make this, please update this thread so the standby's can get in!

Thanks Dave for organizing the ride and Rob for being the sweepa!
too bad we couldn't do the mt. washington auto road . The first time I rode up to the summit was on my 1988 Ninja 750 back in 2009, I wanted to try it out on my duc streetfighter today .
checkout the attachments. first time ever I tried the panaroma feature on my phone (galaxy nexus!)
*will upload videos in a couple days.

There’s just engineering, skill, and luck.
-1988 Kawasaki Ninja 750 - sold
-1997 Honda CBR600F3 - sold
-2011 Ducati Streetfighter S - current
Great ride yesterday! Thanks all 24 for joining!
Across from the MT. Washington Auto Road! They wouldn't let us up because of 60 - 70 mph winds! So we had lunch across the street! Pretty great view!
Lunch! Thanks for Cheese for filling in as sweep! It's amazing how well a ride can go when there is good communication between the front and back!. (As a reward, Rob lead the HMR leg! I took up the rear! I think it's as much fun watching the people in front on that carnival ride as it is leading the group!)
Group picture on the Kanc! Aside from a couple unexpected sandy patches on Bear Notch and a big oil slick on the Kanc, these roads were in pretty good shape and traffic was mostly easy enough to dispose of...!
We were surprised to see Ox there with his new Kawi....(He had put on quite a bit of weight over the winter...!!!)

24?...Knew I should have just shown up
SPEED SAFELY!
Beautiful Day (much MUCH nicer than Ride to races haha) and great spirited ride along some beautiful routes. Thank you so very much again Dave. I thoroughly enjoy your rides it is a good mix of organized and spirited that allows you to ride within your comfort range. Thank you also for the sweeper. I hope me and mine weren't holding anyone up behind us. We always feel bad about that and feel as though the sweeper isn't having any fun waiting on our slow asses
We went through our pics and none are post worthy. Hopefully others got some good ones. Met a few more members and are starting to put names with faces which is always nice. Me thinks we (Drew and I) should have stayed with the group instead of peeling off, I think you guys actually got home before us haha. Plus you got to take the Kanc which is something Drew has yet to do. Although we took it leisurely home and stopped a few times to stretch and grab a drink. Few from the group flew bye on on 93. Not sure who. I am still in awe at the number and variety of Gorgeous bikes. The bike I'm debating on purchasing next year is bland compared to what I am seeing. Anyhoo had a wonderful saturday thanks to you and Rob? Thank you! Wish I can do all but have a cookout next one and a softball game to play in the one after Covered bridge it is then.
