Cape Cod to Prudhoe Bay Alaska

Well after much planning and head scratching the bike is finally loaded and I leave at 6.30 am to points north.
My plan is to get as far north as possible which is Deadhorse alaska also known as Prudhoe Bay. I'm taking 5 1/2 to 6 weeks out and back. Bike is all prepped and I'm ready to hit the road. Big thanks to my missus for being so understanding and to my friends who gave me a dig out cheers boys.
I'm planning on checking in here and try and do an ongoing ride report with pics for everyone in this thread. I'm going to head to North Dakota and then shoot north to the beginning of the Alcan .
Bikes all loaded , 2001 Triumph Tiger with 36723miles on it and some skulls
I'm going to e-mail the pics to josh and he'll post them up for me.
Things I'm taking with with me
Garmin gps 2720
sirius satellite radio
cell phone , sleeping bag and tent and some tools oh and a change of socks

Man I'm on a roll here, I can't stop riding and all the pics are on the road.
Rode thru some really nasty thunder storms in Illinois and chicago.
North dakota is wild country and stopped in Fargo for a coffee well cos it's fargo
Crossed the border near minot ND and went thru Saskatoon early this morning sometime
I'm in Edmonton Alberta Canada and hoping to hit Dawson creek tonight.
I know I should be stopping and smelling the flowers and shit but I can't seem to stop riding. When I get off the bike for fuel and water I feel tired but as soon as I get rolling again all is well with the world.
Sirius satellite radio rocks and I have a camel pak filled with water all the time as staying hydrated is really important.
Right now I'm in a rest area and ready to roll again.
When I stop in a day or so I'll find somewhere to upload the pics and stuff.
I crashed in a remote rest area last night for a few hours and it was really cool , out in the middle of no-where and a constant breeze coming across the plains..
later gotta roll and roll and roll
