Awesome. I'm bored with every road around Worcester and can't find anything I want to go back to. I always take 140 or 122 up to 62, or over to the wachusett area, but I've done that a few too many times.
I definitely need to explore more...

yes, keep exploring. the most fun i had around those areas was on a supermoto but many of the routes we used to take would be fun on a bigger bike too. hard to remember though because i'd map all super-small roads west then head back east. LOTS of connections. hopefully i saved them all somewhere...

also check out Old Turnpike > Barre Rd > N Rd > Spring Hill > ?

Prouty out there is fun too if i remember correctly.

there was also another route off 32 somewhere down lower that got fresh pavement right before i sold the sumo... i'll try to remember it. local sub shop to break at too.

speaking of food breaks, if you jam up 78N over the border (few fun corners, elevation changes and wide open sweepers), we used to grab a slice right at the intersection of 78/119. food 'n fuel right there... turn around and do it again...

I hate you. A part of me really wants to move to CA... I don't think it's in the cards for the near future.

Typeone, thanks again for the ideas. I am pretty familiar w 62/122 so no need to get me there from Brookline. Appreciate the suggestions from everyone.

I have ordered a Tomtom rider in preparation for some long distance trips in unfamiliar territory later this year, looking forward to the winding route feature.

Washington Sq. I work in Dorchester. Go behind the pond on Perkins st to the Arbor Way and up through franklin park and through the hood to field's corner every day. Always interested in new routes that don't involve parallel trolley tracks in the street

YB has a rally every year in Heath, MA and there are a bunch of great roads in the area. Or at least there were, after last winter I'm not sure this will be a great riding season in NE.

Living in Brookline, I feel pretty penned in by crowded suburbs, and when I get out to my old central MA area I just end up riding the same roads I've been on for years. So I'm looking for advice for quality rides anywhere in central/eastern MA, southern NH, southern ME. I have fridays off and would love a few day or half-day trips and ideas for scenic destinations. Thanks folks.
This is your lucky day. Here is years of superb riding: http://www.newenglandriders.org/Best...NewEngland.htm
