Like someone said, the top of main street is a shitshow of a rotary/circle with lights. Would not work well with a group. For a place to stop and make sure everyone's bike is good to go I would suggest take a right onto 101e then take the left onto optical ave. A few seconds after you make that turn there are huge Timken parking lots on your right and a huge Markem parking lot on your left.
If gas is needed by or before this point there's a pretty big Sunoco? with plenty of parking in Troy.

Come on lets get people to show for this, it will be a great way to start the season! Make some new friends and see some new places. Geez i sound like a salesman! LOL
GSXR750 GS650 Street Tracker
Yup... Going to be a great time!
Any tire recommendations/shops here? I live in Natick so I don't want to go too far. I saw a lot of threads on tire changing, but does anyone actually stock tires and can give me a good quote for this to be done (and most likely will be done on the bike so I'll just ride over there).
Is there any value to these track tires to someone so I can re-coup a few bucks? They certainly aren't ready to go to the trash I'm led to believe..
Once you find out what kind they are look up the price and throw up a For Sale thread if they are any good. I'm sure they will sell
As for the new tire Trickymike changes them and might even stock a few, you'll have to ask him. You can always buy some good tires online pretty cheap. I think some website was selling Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's which are great street tires for 225$ a set and thats a damn good price.

Thanks man! Did I mention to you guys how awesome ultraTwist is for driving in the rain to deliver the bike to me?
Hey Rice Rocket i have no personal experience with that tire but it actually looks like it would do fine on the street. It will probably wear out really fast but it should do ok

ultraTwist said they'd be good.. I'm just a little worried when it's mentioned everywhere that wet traction is not so good... that and it's COLD outside. I'm no rossi to heat up tires, I'm just afraid it's not going to get to temp for the street duty riding I'm doing. I don't want to put the bike downMaybe I'm just a wuss and I shouldn't be so scared.... famous last words

rice.... I would look at the treads. If there is decent tread left you should be fine on our ride. We will have a relaxed pace as many have said. NO ONE here wants to see a fellow rider go down or get hurt. I would think you will be fine. I would consider changing them when you can though but if you cannot before the ride you will be fine IMO.
Saturday I'm getting my Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's put on!![]()
Tell 'em, Kenn!!
Hey Greg, tell you what, I'll put both bikes together if you wanna put my CBR back together. All that's left on mine is the entire engine and everything else that hangs from the frame.
EDIT: Almost forgot, brakes on the truck too!
Deal?
Hi there Guys
