Boston-Laconia and back? (not bike week)

I'm riding up to BCM Ducati in Laconia to get my suspension dialed in on Saturday morning (tomorrow). I always end up slabbing it up there for time sake but tomorrow I want to find a good route up and back to cruise some turns.

Anyone got any route suggestions? I'm leaving-returning from/to the city.

Thanks, and if anyone is going to be out along the way always cool to ride with people.

If it rains I may take it in the pickup, I know, I'm a squid.

OK, not sure about the part from Mass to Amherst, NH, but I can definitely hook you up with a more better route from there to Laconia. I'll post it when I get a couple of minutes and a map (to make sure that I have my route numbers/road names correct. You WILL enjoy the route that I have in mind!

Never overlook route 107, north of route 4 in NH.....

And if you're gonna ever be taking that route, you'd best be giving me a shout. When you cross route 28 (NH), you're within a few miles of my place. I *MAY* even share some other, less travelled routes wich ya.....

yes - 107 toward Laconia is a good route. Haven't done it this season yet. I have been up 28 through Epsom though. I have been doing a loop from Manchester - Hooksett - Epsom - Deerfield - Raymond - Manchester (about 65 miles). I think that takes me on 107 South from Epsom, which is nice also.

I was thinking of the road that goes to Franklin from Warner (west of I-93). Great road, just not long enough. There are good roads on this side of 93 through New Boston to Deering, etc.

Maybe we should compile a list of routes/roads in NH? Of course it will have to be distributed carefully because I don't really want LEO's hanging out more often on my favorites.

    Later, Mang.

I'd like to participate in NH roads list compilation.

I agree, 107 is good south of route 4 too.

Boston-Laconia and back? (not bike week)

    FYI
I just rode 107 up to Laconia and back this weekend. Road is in pretty good shape. SOME frost heaves after 28 for a mile or 2, but the heavy rains washed most of the sand and crap off the roads. Saw no cars for miles, and no blue lights. One section smells like poop tho...

mmmm 1600 miles on new bike now.... broken in, got the feel for her... who wants to play? Anyone for a jaunt to VT perhaps?

    I need Rt 17... badly.

Heh, heh. That section of route 107 has been (and most likely will be) like that for years. Their reasoning so far is that there's too much heavy (construction & heavy equipment) traffic that uses that stretch to get to & from the dump (I still call it that). Funny how just after that it clears up nicely, eh?
