Mt. Washington 9/26

Any one up for a Mt. Washington ride on 9/26? I'll be out with a group from Long Island (3 Aprilias and couple unknowns, possibly even an MV Senna) who will be out all day Saturday. They've expressed interest in topping out so if you're in the area join us. I figure I'll take them from Shelburne down 113 to Hurricane Mtn Rd, 302 to Bear Notch Rd ,newly paved I might add, to the Kanc and could meet up at the hairpin around 11ish?? Weather is looking good, color is popping, LET'S RIDE!!

Remind riders - Hurricane Mt. Rd. is 2 way road, good spacing of group, keeps a head count, check cell phone coverage in case of over the edge.....
Watch for moose. Rt. 2 & 49, Tripoli Rd.

Eh, back in the (long time ago) we used to camp along Tripoli Rd and party our faces off. That was back when ya could and NOT get in trouble for it!

What kind of pace are we talking here. I've been stopped twice in the past weeks and am not looking for my third trying to catch up on the straights. Sounds like a fun run.

I'm sure the pace will be reasonable as these will be virgin roads for these guys. We just had another RSVR from Ct. decide to join so I'm guessing by the caliber of bikes we may turn it up a little thru the sweepers.Sorry about your bad luck with the man , it's not catchy is it??!!

Not just the man, but the woman too. Having a clean record, not being an ass by owning it, and having a little levity makes for thankful times. Could have had 2 "need to appears" if not for decent cops. As for the pace, keeping up in the twistys is no prob. Just have a lack of hp going down the straights. Catching up can be fun but I'm a little shy of the blue lights as of late.

Aint that the truth!!Apes Rule!! You really should blow off work and come up Friday. We're having a little Aprilia get together at our motel in Shelburne NH. We got 3 rooms left at a smokin deal. Either way come ride with us.
