We can talk about running the league after we race on Sunday while we're eating
You will need the competition license to run the league and they're usually on weeknights.
What we should do for sure is take the class that combines both tracks, you'll get a ton of tracktime and the competion license is included in the price

Ben, i made the reservation this morning. One of my uncles hasn't called me back yet but i reserved for him anyways, if something comes up, you can have his spot. I asked if i can add people and they said yes so if you want to go, just let me know and i'll call and add your name.

Everyone needs to be there by 12pm to get signed in and geared up. These times "could" change a little bit if they run ahead of schedual so if you're late, it's your loss.

You're in the 1:20 race on track 1 and the 2:00, 2:20, 2:40 races on track 2. They said the 1:10 race was all booked up.

Was great to see everyone there today, that was an unreal amount of fun. I got a little bit of backpain from one of the many "bumps" i was involved in, it may have been the one when the car got stuffed under the wall on track 2

I'm really looking forward to doing it again next month..

I stopped in and checked it out and it wasn't looking too shabby. There is no bar like F1 but they do have munchies. Both tracks are completly flat and smooth, the carts can go around 35 mph down the straight and come into turn 1 (track 2)pretty hot and close to the wall and it looked like a blast. The carts are all brandy new 2005's with a .5 over the F1 carts
Well check it out for yourself, seems like a much cheaper alternative.

Racing America in Foxboro is SO much better than F1. I've joined a league there (first race in tomorrow night). The karts are better, the track is better. It's all about racing down there...Yes the elevation changes at F1 are nice, but the track is so much better at Racing America. it's much more technical. You need to modulate the throttle. Most importantly there are multiple racing lines that can be taken at RA, where as F1 boston has 1 line and that's about it...

I was told to be there by 6:30. I think we may have a short practice session them the events. I have a Blue suit (two of my teammates have the same suit) with a red Shoei RF-900 Chimera helmet. Should be a tough (read as fast & competative) league. I know/race with most of the guys. they're quick...

How do you know it's better if you haven't even raced there yet?

All you need to do is stop by there and they willl walk you around the track let you check out the karts. They are all about racing, check out the web site and look at the sweet track layout.
Plus it is cheaper and that is a big plus for me. And everyone I met there has been super friendly.

Had a GREAT time yesterday!!! Serious, serious fun! I don't know how I made it around that track laughing as hard as I did!

My best racing moment: On lap 16 or 17 on our second race I was running 3rd behind JimF and R7. Coming up on a turn they both went alittle wide so I just stayed on the gas and passed 'em on the inside for 1st place! Unfortunately right after I completed the pass I realized we were under caution and that's why I was able to pass so easily.

No worries though, no corner-workers saw and I was able to finish 1st and bring home the championship to NESR!

Another great moment: Chasing JimF around, couldn't seem to get by too easily until I managed to creep up on the inside of a turn and pushed him wide! I guess this caused him to spin out and hit the wall!

Hey, I think we musta had the part-timers working the corners 'cause there was ALOT of bumping (SMASHING) into each other! Too much fun! Way, way too much fun!!!!!!

I just checked out the other site. It said the kart performance is at a top speed of 35 MPH. Yesterday I hit 48.20 MPH at F1.

I think i had the lead for over 10 laps.

I could be into checking out the place in Foxborrow but if you go to F1 on a Sunday (which seems to work out the best for most), F1 is less money per lap. Sundays is 20/20 at F1, 20 laps for $20 and a free day license is included

My lower back and neck did actually start getting sore yesterday and this morning from getting hit by Bryan.

Not too bad though, and I ended up lifting weights last night so that may be part of it.
