OK, I'm in, Peabody isn't too far. My NESHL team just clinched a playoff spot last night, currently can't play enough hockey.

I'm alright to just bring a black and a white jersey right? I don't have one of the stinky socks jerseys.

Yeah, one dark, one white. They prefer no yellow or grey (indistinguishable). I'm probably gonna make a trip to Pure this afternoon & pick up a couple for myself. I keep having to borrow.


My teammate, Steve signed up, too. My buddy Jared as well. Both play C league. I'll be struggling to keep up but havin fun anyway. lol

Cool, got it. They've got some jerseys there for short money, I have a few I use for pickup that were only about $20 each.

I think we should get some NESR Hockey jerseys made. Not that I'd use it an awful lot but it would be sweet to have for all the random pickup games I skate in. Could have them made as reversible and get your race number too...

Whelp, got our asses kicked last night, but I got my first goal!

The teams were pretty uneven. They do what they can to ensure even numbers, but there's no way to make them even skill wise till after the game starts... A lot of the players on the other team were high C, low B... Most of the guys on my team were C or even C/D (me).

Our goalie was pissed. lol. Duncan, it was the same guy you guys had last week, cept this week was worse. He wasn't happy.

But... I got a nice goal on a 2-on-1 breakaway so I was happy w/ that and I only made a couple of glaring mistakes which is improvement in itself.

I may bump down & do Weds night C/D games.

I don't play much ice but I do play roller. Anyone else care to maybe play a little roller hockey this spring/summer?

I haven't played roller in years. I don't have skates but I was just talking to a buddy about picking up a set when it warms up. I've got a town owned rink at the end of Hough's Neck that's about 5 minutes away from me.
