The local shows don't have much and it is that 2/3 the MC sales are cruisers
Bless them all but little interest for me
I don't even know now but like 20 years ago every bike sold by a manufacturer would be displayed. If that true now a days ?
Especially off brands you wouldn't normally see.
The calculus of hate
It is not that I should win it is that you should lose
It is not that I succeed it is that you fail
It is not that I should live it is that you should die
Usually the local shows are disappointing. I'm in NYC the weekend of the Javitts show every year for a family party and try to make it there. Lots more bikes and accessories on the floor.
Me no likey crash
I wish they had a list of aftermarket vendors.
Can you get deals on parts like helmets at these shows,or does MSRP rule the day ?
I have been to a few of these. They are definitley more focused on the cruiser crowd. It is cool to see some different stuff out there but I wouldn't go there thinking you are going to find any good deals on anything for a sport bike.
Last Hartford show had at least 5 different chapters of Hell's Angels involved. But also quite a few local dealers and their stock, and aftermarket stuff that was not rock bottom, but not outrageous either.
This year Hartford is the same weekend as NY at Javits, and NY is winning.
FYI, there is a FREE Ticket Giveaway Contest for the International Motorcycle Show for each location with Discount codes also

*I am not compensated by IMS nor the guys putting on the contest
