    Northern NH/ Mt.Washington Ride

Myself, "Not Sure", Alvero, Dragginazz, are planning on riding the White Mounts Sunday 7/8. Meeting at the Dunkin Dounuts off of I93 exit#6. Will be planning on doing the Mt. Washington auto road. Would like to keep the ride limited to under 10 riders. Meeting at 8:00 kick stands up at 8:30. Casual pace, spirited at times. Plan to be back in SNH no later than 5:00 p.m.

    Re: Northern NH/ Mt.Washington Ride

Last Sunday Talus, Sveesix, E30 and i went to MT Washington. We did Bear Notch and some of the Kank. I'm doing Newfoundland this up coming Thursday... Dont know if I want to get to ride the auto Road.. They didn't let us up last Sunday because of rain and dirt n the road. Even though we had "adventure bikes" no go. So I guess maybe I'm in..

270-ish miles for me and a few nice roads I've never been on before. Weather was excellent and we found another reason to always carry zip ties when you ride.

yea i was gonna go with but when my alarm went off sun morning i realized that i needed more sleep still before i got up and started riding. had been a really busy week.. i went out later on and hit Hurricane Mtn Rd, Bear Notch Rd and the East end of the Kanc. only to get home and find my chain really loose and the axle nut too tight so i have a new rear axle etc on order.

Had a good day. Weather was exceptional. 113 home was a blast, took a beating on the last section, but all in all was great day riding with you guys.

We slabbed it up 93 to exit 24. I totally blew by my turn to hit 118. We followed Rt.3 to 112 to Bear notch. Shit ton of vacation traffic. Was going to do the Auto road but hurricane forced winds put the stop on that. Split up at 302 & 16 took 113 back to Ashland slabbed back home. Sections of 113 were travel at your own risk. Knock a few fillings out of my mouth type shit.

Donald and I went 153 south (it was great - smooth and low traffic volume) into Farmington where we broke up. I found 202A to Mountain View Road to 107 to Nottingham Road to 156 to 101. Long way back but nice.

Doug, you don't want to slab up I assume right? If so I can PM you a good route up there from Nashua area. Let me know.

I would appreciate a nice non-slab route there.. I am not so against slabbing home if needed. Thanks

    Sheppo,

Do You have a GPS? I have a pretty good (long) route up that way, but for some of it you're going to want a GPS.
