Once you have received a site number then go to payment section for the deposit.

You have to catch 'em to pass 'em. Slowest part of a V-Strom is it's rider. No different than any sport bike.

I'm very interested. First time in the last 2+ years now that this doesn't conflict with a personal obligation.

and as for Vstroms being slow , I second that it certainly comes down to the rider , not the bike. I don't ride my strom any different or slower through a corner than I did on my sport bikes . Granted it may be slower in a straight line than a sport bike , but who can't go fast in a straight line on a sport bike ?

Ride is about 200 miles and 40 miles of dirt road

The origin of this was to introduce some pavement only to some dirt roads
I continue to do the dirt as both interesting roads but those driven daily by cars and trucks, meaning no trails or fire roads.

This has 1 small section where the road will be a steepish down hill but the rest of the dirt is almost flat

UNTIL I had GIXAHS etc. went all over the Northeast on any road without thinking but true sportbikes were very unenjoyable on dirt or even rough pavement
thus the change to a Strom which is both faster and more comfortable on poor roads

I can log in over there , and read stuff , but can't post . I contacted admin , the emailed me the same set up link that I used to create the account , so I filled it out again , and the error message stated that that user name and email already existed , yeh no shit , I set it up days earlier . Maybe that's a sign that I just don't need to log in over there . Sorry rich , I can't add my name over there to the attending thread , but still plan to go .

Shit! I just realized, do I need to get all new, hi-viz gear now that I'll be riding that bike?

I can still pop wheelies and other such squidly behavior though, right? I mean it does have the same engine as an 1198 superbike. (Sort of)

1st email day 1 asking to make the reservation , answer yes I can do that for you
2nd email day 2 I ask about payment she tells me to mail a check . I ask if there is an online option I get the response yes so I go on line
3rd email day 3 I need to know the site number and the amount to pay I get the site number and amount
4th email day 4 I need to know the campground confirmation number .
now I wait for a response .

finally . 6days later My log in is set up at strom troopers ,and I have site 25 for the campout . Better late than pregnant .

I have my eye on the weather (I think only scattered thundershowers are forcast)

my plan is to leave my house in Farmington about 5am to meet up with the group at the campground @ 8am
