I didn't get started as early as I had wanted, I'm looking for a new oil company...... It warmed up to about -5° by the time I got my heat situation squared away.
my ride was short, rode to Rochester Motorsports to pick up the sidestand springs I ordered last week.then back to Farmington, 153 to Union and I decided not to go any further, I returned home via Rt 125 to Milton then 75 back to Farmington.... saw a lot of cops including a SP in Milton near the Spaulding underpass. I think they were looking for somebody.
I have to get heated gloves, below 0 the handlebar sucks the heat right out of the left grip. the throttle tube keeps the other one warm. Also I am seriously looking into a good snowmobile helmet. It's so tempting to really rip into the throttle. It's really hard to describe the power of twisting a throttle grip when it's below 0....but the wind chill against your helmet is instantaneous.
speeds above 55-60 get hard to take real quick
