I know one of the attendees was VERY happy after that, as he knew he wouldn't be 'that guy' at that event. First time ever on a sport bike, only ever ridden Harleys, had a ball and was happily showing pics to friends after.

No, I'm saying the cruiser rider DIDN'T crash, and was quite happy he WASN'T that guy did. He was also absolutely thrilled with his first time on a sport bike, and at a track day.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is happening at NHMS that day? I havent been back there in a year or so and if there is some racing it would be cool to stop in and watch, make me want to get back on the track!

I still think its fugly as all hell...not as much of an abortion as the gawdawful Multistrada, but close. But then again I think the 999 is one of the best looking bikes Ducati ever made, so my opinions of them tend to be in the minority.
