Ive been riding sice the early eighties....I use to use heated gloves and vest etc...worked awsome, still needed a dicky thing for the neck to keep the cool breezes out... Would ride when it was 30 degrees people use to scratch their heads.... Its still nice out..Im having fun with ya..... Just hate it when you need to start wearing the long johns to stay warm etc..... Im missing summer already

I dont mind the cold weather. It's when you get too fat to fit into your cold weather gear that's a killer!

I'm Canadian, I laugh at this weather, and was happy to be out today! I went until almost xmas last year without heated gear..just needed above 38F to get my bike going

back when my street bike(s) was my only bike, I used to ride as low as 18 degree F, and was anxious to use any day above 40, without too much sand on the road, to ride

now that I have a cage commuter and an extra play bike, I'd rather just poke around on a dirt bike for fun and leave the street bike parked for cold weather...lower speeds combined with increased movements (you ride standing and are bouncing all over the place) keeps me plenty warm, if not sweaty

+1. This is my favorite time of year to ride.

I also really love riding in the middle of winter when there's snow on the ground but there have been enough sunny days to dry the roads.
