i agree with what ur saying but when someone who obviously have never ridden with me or any of my friends make dumb assumptions. Very lame imo.

When bringing guests on a group ride it is your responsibility to ensure the riders you bring are not dbags. I wasn't implying that you or your friends are in fact dbags but if any of them happen to be don't bring them.

Bottom line is what Greg stated....The people that sign up for my ride I am assuming have read the rules for NESR group rides. If they havent, I suggest they do before they sign up without knowing the rules. When people sign up and have read the rules, It is safe for me to assume that they know better than to ride like assholes..... There is a time and place and you will not be judged on how you ride on your own or your friends. I too have been guilty of riding like a DB in my life. Just dont bring it to my ride. My main and only concern are people's safety. With this many bikes this early in the season, I have to take every precation there is to make this the safest and funest ride I can organize. So therefore, whoever you bring (and I say this to everybody) please just make sure they can ride within the limits of NESR rules and can contain themselves to ride safe and have fun. I dont care how you or anyone else rides on your own, just as long as you can be safe on my ride. That being said...just bc we have rules...doesnt mean we dont have fun .... love that the ride is looking good so far!! Lets gooo NESR!

Simply make them aware of the NESR group ride rules that's all. We had an incident a couple years back were a rider bought his buddy who was on a cruiser wearing sneakers and jeans with a t-shirt an ended up going off the road trying to keep up. Nice kid ends up in the back of an ambulance and wrecks his bike. Nobody wants to see anybody get hurt and/or ticketed.

most rides that are organized follow these guidelines, which i read and had no problem besides Ho-Hum is one of my so called friends that makes that list........ hey i know some guys do dumbshit all the time but that is not what it's all about. I actually ride. I normally do the Harley Davidson Ride yearly no issues.

i only have shift riding high top sneakers/boots..am i going to get hated on for such a choice?

If they aren't sneakers , and have protection at least up to your ankles. Then they are fine

I will not be wearing sneakers but may I ask why you (general you) would care?
Thread clearly states gear required I just don't understand why it matters to 3rd parties if idc about my legs or hands? Also what pase is this ride because I know some people (that I have not invited since I'm not responsible or anyone other than myself and passenger that could possibly like to do that ride but they are not fast riders).
