    White Mountain Run

RE-DOING this whole ride. Change of DATE so it will suite many, hopefully, to come out and ride.

Destination is North Adams out in western MA. A lot of you havent rode this road, its really fun and LOTS of twisties once we get there. Hopefully Lo-Riderz come out for this. We will hit western MA, Vermont and NY and you'll enjoy it!

We will get lunch before we hit the twisties of the road so dont worry about starving. Passengers wou...ldn't be the best idea for the ride, so think twice if you want to have some twistie fun.

Date is Saturday August 28th. LEAVING at the same time of 10:30 SHARP from DUNKIN DONUTS at Chelmsford St. in Lowell. We will be back before 7 so for those of you, PHILLIP, dont worry, you will be home for your drunken endeavors.

SORRY FOR RE-DOING THE WHOLE RIDE. The Mountain Run didnt look promising.

The location of the meet up place is 443 Chelmsford St, Lowell, MA

Can a mod change the title to NORTH ADAM RUN! for me, please and thnk you.

Ha, so did I.... I love riding in the Whites, I have a lot of friends up North and it is a very chill environment. Check out David Pickman's vintage bike shop when you're there in Bethlehem.

And also Bear Notch. I didn't hit that last week but I hear it is simply awesome, and just got paved last year.

May see you on the run, then!

Here's the info I posted up on FB and I hope to get some responses here

Since our last big ride was such a success I am throwing the next one out there a week and a half early - so there shouldn't be an excuse THIS TIME TO GO.

We have already done a White Mountains ride earlier this month but thanks to Thien's planning of JUST RIDING and not doing anything else - I decided to throw one more out there. He and I are critiquing the route to take up there.

Speaking of up there we are heading to the base o...f the mountains at Laconia, NH. I've been up here camping and driving on through to Maine and it is very much a sweet ride with mountains, twisties (not crazy) and the such.

There are a few things we can do once we get there, I suggest the flume and gorge walk and then the tram to the top of the mountain - but this is up to the discretion of the group of course. After we stop here and can head to one of the loops they have suggested - sure to filled with great turns and stuff.

I am hoping people can make it out for our LAST SUMMER HOORAH seeing how the past 2 rides have been such a great run. I do recommend you gear up for this ride and if you must bring a passenger to also tell them to gear up please. Safety is of Thien's and mine's concern.

I will send msgs to guests as the week progress of our exact route and have Thien post it up on the map.

The date is August 21st and we are to meet at Dunkin Donuts in Lowell between 9:30-10:30. KICKSTAND UP AT 10:30 SHARP!

    RAIN DATE IS AUGUST 22nd!!
Which dunkin donuts? address? I'd be up for that ride.
Let me know tonight so I can hook up with you guys in the AM.
I was going to run to Amhurst but your ride sounds much better and is closer.
    thanks, ron

    Ditto, ditto.

    Which Lowell DD?

Is it tomorrow or in a week?

Dude...you would be way better off deleting this thread and starting over. Since there is no 'list' going here you wont actually lose anything...

    ...my 2 cents....
