Rhode Island Ride Meetup 04/04/09

Hello all, this is Rhode Islands own sexay ridur here. Planning to get a group ride this Sunday to wherever.

Time: 10am (Probably wont head out til 10:30-11am)

Location for meet/greet: Cranston, RI Garden City off Reservoir ave. Parking space lot behind Circuit City/Post Office area.

I am not sure where we are heading, but once everybody is there, we will all decide.

as of right now theres a group of people heading to motomarket from ri on sat april 4th around 11, although weather looks shitty, maybe us rhode islanders can turn this into one event. If your talking the 5th theres a meet going on at mohegan sun but its prob more car then bikes although all are welcomed .just throwing it out there. either way i plan on meeting some fellow ri riders this weekend no matter where we end up.

Triumphdog, R7 and I (and others?) will be meeting on Saturday near Prov. around 11 and heading to motomarket to hang out and maybe get a backroads ride in. If you want in on that, I am sure more are welcome!

If it is raining and cold, it probably wont happen.

My bad people, Scorp informed me I put the wrong date and he had corrected it. I just checked the weather, and this pathetic lingering April Showers seems to be staying put, and both days looks like kuuuuuuurap!

If both days turns out to be decent I will be riding.

I just checked the weather right now, and Sunday the 5th looks like no rain for now, but it can change again tomorrow morning. If weather holds up, hope to see some people tomorrow.

just reading this thread over and there looks like there was some confusion hope im not sitting out here bymyself for to long. btw besides being a bit windy the weather is great.
EDIT: I left after like 10 minutes of no one showing up cause the weather was great and i didnt want to sit around in an empty parking lot, i went through a couple times after a short ride and still no bikes OH WELLLLL. on a side note i got pulled over on rt 2 for my plate being mounted sideways but the cop was really cool about it. It was kind of embarrasing like 6 biikes passed me while i was pulled over i felt like an idiot.

I too am thinking there was a confusion. The plan parking lot behind garden city at noon, and no one showed up. I was there for 30 minutes with Baller. 2 riders not from this site met us there and we went riding and ended up in Roger Williams Park. Hoping to see some people for next time.

I think thats why we didnt meet haha i was there at like 10:30 am u were there at noon Whats everyone doing easter sunday? I usually have to go to a little family get together in the morning but im free after that if the weather is nice

this thread deffinitly FAILED lol but it was a good attempt and at least theres a good amount of rhode islanders that want to meet up and ride. Next week if its nice out maybe we can try again with all the correct details and a time and place that will work for everyone.

I was at Roger Williams with my wife and daughter, saw alot of bikes rolling thru. I was envious
