    My new ride..........................

I took the RR out today under duress, well…maybe cuz I didn’t have any choice. I have ta say that it performed like a typical Honda, flawlessly. Earlier this year there were concerns about the valve guides being a little worn but there was no evidence of that issue today. Earlier this year peeps riding with me observed a puff of smoke coming out of the pipe in a hard deceleration. From what I under stand, this would point to valve guides. Otherwise, if it occurred while acceleration, it would indicate rings. I let my bud Nathan take it for a bit. I was in back of him and didn’t notice any smoke at all whether he was accelerating or coming down from high revs. I don’t get it.

I checked oil consumption and there was little if any. The bike seems ta be 100% even after 23,000+ miles.

Tim……….she’s ready ta roll for next weekend. Pray for good weather.
