me in MA 6.2-6.5

I am heading to MA on my bike Thursday the 2nd. I will prolly swing on by the track to say hi to those doing the trackday then I am headed to Scituate to hang with the rents. I am going to try to catch Agnostic Front in NH on Thurs (doubtful) and in RI on Fri (hopeful). Hangin sat and headed back on Sun or monday.

So what's happenin? Who's around? Who wants to get together?

NH is where you race. RI is a suburb of MA just south on 95 and Scituite is on the shore - about halfway down Route 3 between boston and the cape.

ok. when I leave here I will not have internet access as far as I know. on top of that my cell doesn't get reception at my rents house but it does a 1/2 mile down the road. I will not post my phone # here but those that show interest in getting together I will shoot you my phone # before I leave.

I have no idea on a route yet. I am gonna be headin down to the track to say hi to people but from there I am totally open to some suggestions. I also haven't looked at a map yet but I don't know roads down there too well. Let me know a good route from Conc with just some minimal highway. I want to stay off 93 as much as possible (specially through the toll) but don't mind a short stint on 3. I know the area from Braintree and south.

I am usually pretty good with a map but if there are some really good roads please let me know.

Ahhh...Now you're talking. South of Braintree is my neck of the woods. Plymouth has some nice roads but the twisty ones start to get a bit more traffic after Memorial Day weekend, which is right now.

If you do head down to Plymouth you need to check out the following:

>Bourne Rd.

i always get lost in myles standish. I couldn't figure my way around that place in a car or on a bicycle. I remeber those those being covered with sand in the summer time too....that end?

The rents are in scituite so I don't know how much riding I will be doing down that way.

I am going down for a high school graduation party and there is a gathering on Sat and the grad is on Fri so I don't know how free I will be to just ride. My wife is stayin the MA for the following week so the bike is more of a way for me to get home so she can keep the Xterra while in MA. Doesn't mean I can't have some fun on the way down and back though.

Sand....Yup...that's one of the bad things about Myles Standish, especially after a heavy rain like we just had.
I like it because of the tight slow speed corners. Unfortunately the roads are a bit narrow.

yeah, Mark...what is up with "your people" down there? I was in Newport for a bit today and it was sooooo squid central. i saw the same packs of wingnuts (sportbikes and cruisers) just doing helmetless-flipflop laps around the center of town.

This could very well turn into one of those weekends where I want to do my thing and get roped into a bunch of other shit cause I am in MA so little but all of my family and Laura's family is there and her sister from TX is up too. So I may not end up seeing any of you unless it's at the track or someone wants to check out the Front (if I even make that), or wants to escort me back to VT

They're not "my people" , that's why when i ride it's usually out of state. While i do do my share of posing and squid riding, it's hardly ever on a weekend day, last thing i want to do is be in a congested area on a sportbike on a nice sunny day.
The group i used to ride withs idea of a good ride was a loop up 95 to 146 and back down 295, though it's been 4 years sence i rode with them but i'm pretty sure the loop got bigger and now includes 195 and 495

sounds like a plan. I wouldn't count on it though. I justed talked to me ma and they want to take me out ta dinna on Fiday night. That means dat me relaxing weekend has suddenly turned inta a not-so-relaxing weekend. Go figure and me rents always wonda why I don't want to go to MA eva.
