Just went out for a ride....nice!!!

Well its been a real crapy winter..... Cleaned the bike up a bit, put a new battery and off I went....A great day for riding....lots of sand so make it a simple cruise so peg scraping

I also went for a ride with my dad today. Great weather and almost no sand out anymore. Even the back roads are mostly sand free. It even hit 60

Logged 110 miles today - awesome time! Some suprise sand locations still but looks pretty darn clean.

I got out as the sun was going down. Annalisa's bike is still at GMD, so did a 2-up session. Only logged just over 40 miles, but still had fun.

We both got to stretch out the new gear we got for Christmas.

I had a great ride out on 119, jumped on some back roads in NH and discovered there's sand and then there's *sand* - where you can see two foot wide streaks of pavement and try to lock in on that tarmac.. did that for about 15 minutes and turned my scared ass right around and stayed w/119.

I didnt get out today but I did finish up the dirty toy. Revalved the suspension for the woods, got the new pipe installed, rejetted the carb and cleaned it up. Took it for a small spin to see how it felt but not enough to feel it out good. Either way Im set to go for the time being

yea apparently RI uses a lot more sand than everywhere else, cuase the roads still have a lot here. I still did about 60 miles, it was glorious. But there were a lot of the mid-corner SURPRISE sand patches, so no bigtime hanging off today. It still felt great though. I take delivery of the new to me 08 600RR tomorrow, WOOHOO!

Ill let you know about the rides Here is a pic of my bike I built over the winter....swaped out the cr500 engine for a rz350 engine...now at 535 not 350...and now 120hp not 60 LOL.....should be intersting if it stays together

Its a United motors(imported from korea...made by suzuki for United motors....even has a suzuki title! it was a 250 v twin.... not much left of the orginal bike.... I do have the full bodywork as well....will fit that on once its all tuned...

Yes the back woods are showing snow and still quite a bit of sand. Most of the riding has been on the most traveled roads like 1A, 1, 128, 95, 62 and 97.

exactly, im staying on the bigger roads and not going crazy...Went around this corner the other day in my truck and the whole road was covers with sand on this turn...Looks like some landscaping folks blew the sand into the road. In the summer that would have been disaster....this time of year you must take it slow on any backroad...
