Across the street from my house, Hinesburg/Huntington area. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 acres, full of logging trails. Its mostly owned by the State and A. Johnson Lumber (what a cool name for a logging company ), neither of whom have ever given me any trouble for riding on it.

Traveled by a lot of ATV's and dirt bikes. You would want to be good at hillclimbing, though, because some of the trails have some steep, rocky ass hills. I'm a beginner on the dirt, so I fall pretty much constantly.
