I'd say check your plugs, if all looks good on that front, I'm going to assume your bike is fuel injected? Have a power commander installed? Something funky in the works there maybe?

no power commander. everything is stock. plenty of power stock.

funny thing is when it's completely cool it doesn't do it I think. but i'll check the plugs.

It was nice meeting everyone, I had a great time. Great gourp of people.

Almost 400 miles for me today we went for bit more riding afterwards and then the trip down to Dedham.

But I'm tired! Oh well, I'll do it again any day...

Jeff, you led perfect and you know it. You knew when we wanted to pass and when the group was getting scattered and it was time to pull over and regroup. 270 miles and only 1 u-turn? That's awesome!

I will offer you one suggestion that can help you keep in better contact with the group but I'll link it instead of hijacking the thread.

I had a great time ! It was good to see some old friends and make some new ones. Jeff, you did a very good job leading, your pace was perfect. RSV, your bike has incredible acceleration, that may be my next bike.....you just walked away from me whenever things got quick. Sorry if I held anyone up behind me.

let me hijack some more... think I found the problem with the lost power. one of the air hose wasn't connected since I did the valv job.

If it seemed like in spots I was hesitant to pass, its basically because I was. I mean sure, we might get 3-4 bikes past at one point, but then other guys would be stuck behind, and we'd end up waiting one way or another, so I tried to get past when I could, and thought we could get the majority of people by. Glad no one had a problem.
