If its just me and you meet at my place and we'll head from here. My cousin might go with us to (the one with the yellow gsxr that road with us last weekend).
Made it home about 5:00. Nice ride about 270 miles for me. We need to do this kind of ride again real soon with less traffic and blue crew.Had fun (except for the dirt racing on the kank)and it was nice to meet some other bikers from this group. Maybe next 2-up ride I can get a sitter for my son and bring Tami. She really wanted to go today but she hates putting so I told her she didn't miss anything.hahaha.
got home about 6:30, here...
had a great time, too... really glad i got to meet y'all.
and now... now it is time for
Alfred!!! My man, what happened? Where'd ya go??? :dunno:
We saw you guys in Tilton. We were getting petrol at the Exxon, and you guys were sitting at the lights just in front of it. We were trying to get your attention...
It was definitely a nice turnout. In fact, twice as many people showed up than I had thought were gonna. Nice. Traffic TOTALLY sucked though, and really made a joke of otherwise awesome roads. Too bad, but next time we'll do it on a Sunday...
That was a very good yesterday guys(except for the few inconsiderate drivers we came across). Thanks Jay, JC and snowboader for leading the pack. Got lost just as we were coming up to Rt93. JJ and his cousin dropped back for some reason, so I turned around to go find them and that was that. Then lloking at the time a figured I'd head out.(Sorry for holding you guys back)...
yo yo yo, i had a good time guys, i was nice to meet the new faces... and alfred.. nice TLR man.
but on a side note, i got a gripe...
dirt tracking on the Kank left mud, thats like *burned* into the aluminum and chrome parts of the falco...
how the fuck do you get that shit off without damaging the metal finishes... i have had no luck so far.
sincerely,
lots of chipped paint in Mass.
Nice ride. Law enforcement was good to us too, made for a great day!
The whole crew seemed sensible, in control, nimble.
Oreo': I used a preassure washer, took twice to get it clean though.
Two words: WD-40...
Wash it first, then GENTLY wipe with Dubbya-D...
i dunno... i thought i'd just go all-out Randy, and leave the shit on there...
All I can say is tourons & cops, cops & tourons. But while the cops were definitely user friendly, the tourons were just outrageous. Further arguement for riding on Sunday...
All in all though, is was great gettin' with ya'll. Ended up being TWICE as many bikes as was anticipated. Not that it was a problem, just took me by surpirse...
The pace was obviously very subdued. A couple of us had S.O.'s riding pillion, and there were some newer riders amongst. As the day went on though, we started splitting the group up a bit so we could air things out. Strangely enough though, we always ended up hooking back up...
Despite the traffic and the LEO's, it turned out to be a fun day. Next time, smaller group, no pillions...tee heee hee...
bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahhahahahahahaa!
that story was so sweet, it made me pop like 26 boners and crap my pants at the same time.
You guys went right past us in Tilton after we all split up. We were at the Exxon just before you go over route 93. We tried getting your attention, but no luck...
Glad to see Alfred made it back...:D
i suppose tilton was the one stop we made to get gas on 93S?
*shrug*
i was a haze of tired, dehydrated & pain by that point. :)
