damn.. does it have to be Saturday? I have an appointment at noon and there's a slight chance of few showers, but what the heck count me in anyway please. This is more important. Now Sunday would be perfect.
:dunno:
We are now planning this for SUNDAY the 27th of october.
SUNDAY!!
SUNDAY!!

We are ALL waiting for stoneman to say he can lead us on sunday.
Jay, where the heck are ya??

SUNDAY!!
Sorry, gang. Can't do it Sunday. That's trick or treat day for my kids. Being this is the first one my youngest will actually remember, I'm not at all willing to miss that. Again, sorry...
I'd be happy to email wunna ya with some suggestions if the ride is still gonna head somewhat northerly...
..but I can't see me riding northerly on a day when they are predicting rain.
I will be riding sunday, not sure if anyone is riding saturday or not.
Can you email me some route suggestions please Jay?
Thanks
degs
Yeah, Saturday's weather isn't looking so great. I'll email ya some suggestions for southern NH tonight Degs...
Plus, with this snow we got up at my house, it made me realize just how unprepared for winter we are this year. Last year spoiled us...:( I've got a lot to get done before REAL winter kicks our asses this year...
Jay- man, that sux that you're gonna hafta miss your own ride. still, I understand 'bout the kids coming first. hope y'all have a good 'un.
Unless I am forgetting something I had to do that day??? I swear I do, I think Sunday works for me?? :dunno: :?:
Same time same places, New Day??? :D
Sounds like everyone's missing 'my ride'. It was originally planned for Saturday, but looks like the weather's not cooperating...:DQuote:

Oh, and for the record, I HATE this trick or treat shit. I HATE the idea of kids going door to door essentially begging for candy. On the other hand, I usually score BIG on the Snicker bars, so I'll deal with it once a year...:twofinger
I hope nobody mind one ot question. What kind of jacket does everyone have? leather or non?
just count me in for ride anyday.
I'm using leather with a liner (or my race leathers with a thick sweater over them).
degsy
leather w/ liner... how many layers under that depends on the temp range I expect to find throughout the day:D
I just dont want to look different within a pack. I will be picking up a jacket at Brockton Cycle this Saturday before heading out with the group, if there is a group ride this weekend. Any other store I should know about?
So is there going to be a different meet spot now, seeing most people are heading out from central and south east Ma?
IDEA ! How about Moto Market. Unless we are heading south, then a spot say off 495 somewhere south?
:D
I've got a leather jacket with liner, a kevlar jacket, and a textile jacket with built in liner (non removable) depends on temps as to what I'll wear.. the kevlar is strickly a summer jacket.
Chip, you goin to BK on 495/24?
Some free advice (and worth every cent of it):Quote:

1. Don't worry about looking "different w/in a pack". This group is full-up w/ rugged individualists and elements of the lunatic fringe. You'll likely see everything from textiles to full race leathers, on any given ride. Figure out what you can afford... how much riding you're gonna do in what kinda weather... then buy the jacket that suits you the best, is most comfortable, and offers the most protection w/in that range. Trust me... nobody's likely to be too concerned w/ what you're wearing, as long as you're dressed to ride. I'd also consider pants w/ protection & motorcycle boots, if you've got the cabbage for 'em... at least jeans & heavy boots, if you don't yet.
2. I've generally had good luck w/ Brockton Cycle, and this is the time of year when discounts start coming hot 'n' heavy. Check 'em out online, first, to see their best values. You can call 'em up, if you see something you think you might like, and have 'em hold it for you for a couple of days if you tell them you want to come in and try it on first.
Hope that helps... :D
Yeah G... Todd and I are thinking of taking the ride on Sunday as long as I get up (someone calls and wakes me up... I'm working at the club Sat night).
Hey Zombie I saw you looking at my ass last time I wore my "scuba steve" suit... LOL:poke:

Not going anywhere for a while??? Grab a SNICKERS
packed with penuts, SNICKERS really satisfies!
lol
gonzo
Believe me, I really wanna get out for this ride. I have a feeling riding days are gonna be few & far between 'til the 'end of season'...
Did anyone happen to notice that is supposed to rain in buckets tomorrow. 100% chance of rain in the forecast!
There's another thread going on for a ride Sunday instead that I'll most likely make for at least part of. I'm meeting Adam at the Uno's off exit 15 in Concord around 10:00, then on to meet the others in Merrimuck...Quote:
