During last week a friend here at work went for a lunch time ride and crashed about 600 Yards from our shop. His R6 is pretty banged up, he is ok, just very soar the follwing day. The ground was cold as were his tires, he went into a corner way too fast, lost traction and hit a curb sending him airborne into a neighboring yard.
Also while out on my ride yesterday I was noticing all the hazards of riding in the fall the cold slippery painted road markings, leaves, sand, and debree in the roads from the rain washing it into the roads. Not to mention when it rains or right after, everything is extra slippery. I felt my rear slide out on me a few times during the day.
Keep your speeds managable, and be very cautious of the road conditions and hazards that are unpredictable!
Ride Safe and end this year on a good note!
