for a meet yeah, for a "ride"
I think I might know some good roads out that way, kinda my back yard
I did a couple of my motard loops last Fri-Sat-Sun
, road conditions weren't that bad, felt good to get back out got in a few hundred miles
I guess it depends on who you are riding with????......
Good you can let us know where to go then.

Yeah I'm sure those roads are still a mess, we will have to wait until they clean them up, do they actually sweep those streets?

Hahaha! The guys at the DOT are laughing at you! Sure they will eventually sweep some of the streets, but don't wait for it, you will miss most of the summer. It's time to ride now, get out there! Just be cautions of unknown conditions and lower temps (pretty much the same thing we should be doing all the time anyway).
I wanna say that is is rt 169 in ct, is an awesome ride, take rt 138 there, then i was told while on 169, when you hit mass from ct, the roads get even better, but i havnt been that far yet.
I ride a 2008 buell 1125r, my buddy rides a ducati st2, i would have to agree that smaller numbers make for better riding, and to make sure you all have closely related riding style. the most fun can come from that lol IMO of course.

Is it possible to leave my truck at someones house if I haul the bike down?

Sure I have alot of room, just curious why you would trailer it down?

I'm like an hr and 15 to an hr and 30 min away...I work close to 90 hrs in order to stay awake the whole time I think it'll be safer if I put it on top of the truck and bring it down with me...it's just the truck, no trailer

Attleboro here!!!
Last Saturday did the Attleboro-Swansea-Somerset-FR-NB/Dartmouth-Westport loop
Had breakfast at the Bayside...
It was a beautiful day
sup yawl. I live in the Narragansett area, work in NPT. I know all the roads out to/through exeter, around southern RI, into CT, etc.
There are actually some great roads in Tiverton too, from 24 down south along the east side of the bay to the lighthouse there.
Anyhow, im in. I have a ton of space, a big garage, and a will to ride. I need to mount some new tires soon though, these have seen a few too many track days and are hurtin...
oh and be careful in southern RI, still lots of random sand. I stuttered the front end just last week making a left at a light. no good.
and marcelo, if it is summer when you come down, bring your suit for sure. The beach is like 2 minutes from my house and the URI undergrads on it are A-ok!

I live in mattapoisett. usually do alot of rides to plymouth then we do 3a up to boston ride around there. as long as your not a complete idiot riding and pay attention your more then welcome to come. but your warned now i ride with mostly stuntriders so there are highway whoolies. thats why ya gotta be able to pay attention
I'm in Narragansett as well, not a track or a stuntrider...I prefer to keep it on two wheels and hit the throttle hard when the road permits, not push it much further. I'd be up for meeting up with some others to do a ride. I ride to URI whenever the weather permits as I'm finishing up my undergrad degree. Havent had much of a chance to meet area riders but I'd like to!!
NeverlosT, amen about watching for the sand, I skidded to a stop the other day at a light and I didnt expect it/see it coming at all

ok, maybe i just been out on only windy days, but lately i been wondering. how the hell do people wheelie on the high way and not get tossed off the bike from the speed and the wind pushing on you, and the wind pushing you side to side?
im local! was actually just at URI... yesterday(maybe?)... i dont go there, i go to CCRI. Im just starting out riding, so i dont do anything too dumb... just speed. but i speed on everything... car, bicycle, snowboard... i just enjoy speed.
