    Mountain Bikers

Interested in riding after work. Time.... . It depends on where I work that day. Could be a mile from my house in Shrewsbury, or it could be as far as Laconia, NH., or Chatham, MA..
I will do my best to ride just about EVERY DAY after work as I have some decent trails that start right at my door!

Usually I can be ready to ride or travel to ride no later than 6:00, but sometimes as early as 4:00.

So I am up for just about anything.

Also the kids built a pretty decent BMX track that's alot of fun too..
    Racing anyone......

I'd be up for it sometime. Maybe a NESR trip to OTIS......I know the trails in Weston pretty well. Although not real technical....they can be fun for a blast. Does anyone else have lights? maybe a night ride...

re: Racing..trackdog...do you have one in mind? I'm going to race CX in the fall but am looking to race a local MTB event.

Let me get out a few times and then I would be happy to lead a couple rides. I know Vietnam, Callahan and Foxborough very well. I know Weston too but it is not that great.

Lyle I have lights, I guess I should charge them.

I'll be here this weekend. Hopefully I'll get out on the bike, this time. Spent last weekend up there, but only rode the CRF250X.

I'd be up for Vietnam or some other decent place. Weston is pretty mellow but that's what the lights are for.....very very different.

Hey KevinB...your back....How was it? I've got an idea....tell your folks that you are having a NESR MTB gathering.....peeps bring tents or stay local..........

I'm more up for the weekend although I do have lights.

I just know I don't have enough lights to actually ride full speed & get a workout in the woods. (10 watts I think)

I just got to put something together, to many things going on. We could do August or Sept.

That is the best time of the year, I'll still like to try a weekend in August. I'm looking the 13/14th. Does that work for anyone.

Wow..Kevin.....I was half kidding but like your action....

If you can get a group in August..great. I'll have a tough time in August due to family vacation, no camp, etc. If this works for you...pick a date and let us moochers plan accordingly.

If anyone wants to ride this weekend PM me and I'll try to shift things around.

I'm not interested in going anywhere real far away. I may be doing a road race Sunday and definitely will be a little too busy preparing for Mt. Washington to do any real Gonzo MTB riding in August. Crashing bad the week before a $300 race would suck mightily.

I could definitely go for checking out Vietnam since I made a donation when NEMBA bought the place and still haven't gotten to go. I also love Great Brook out in Carlisle.

If people are interested in MTB racing I would check out EFTA, their races are a little more oriented towards technical terrain then NORBAs races, at least if you're talking cross country. I can't comment on the downhill races. EFTA = Eastern Fat Tire Association I have always had a blast when I did those.

+1 on the EFTA races, they are a hoot.

Group ride in Groton sounds cool.

Better yet - get someone to haul a bunch of MTBs up to Kingom Trails, take a day to ride up there...then ride MTBs, then ride back....

    As in Otis AFB?

re: Racing..trackdog...do you have one in mind? I'm going to race CX in the fall but am looking to race a local MTB event.

I meant there is a BMX track the kids made behind my house...

Don't think I have what it takes to race for real. Got the talent I think, just not the stamina dude. That and a bum knee........
