Riding outside of the Los Angeles area

Riding outside of the Loa Angeles area.

I am looking to do a day of riding out of Santa Monica next week. Are there any NESR that know the optimum area to concentrate on for the best use of a sport bike?

    Thanks

little bit of a hike, but the san bernadino mountains up towards big bear ar great. i'm sure there's stuff closer, but that's the area i'm familiar with. mulholland drive? that's gotta be close, right?

Mulholland drive appears to lead into some very interesting area. Thanks for the push.

Just did a couple of days riding from Bakersfield. One of our trips we took 33 down to Decker Road, then Mulholland, stopped at the Rock Store, and ate lunch near the beach. Pretty good stuff.
