    Re: Great Riding Roads!

So riding through the Berkshires this past weekend in western Connecticut I couldn't believe the roads, how little traffic, and the views they had out there! Saw a Porsche GT-4 club of about 10 cars go flying through a bunch of motorcycle groups and even a group of like 1912 cars driving around. Got me excited and thinking about planning a trip and trailering out there for a weekend.

Is there supposed to be a comma in the middle of that? I know Porsche drivers have a rep for being dicks, but you make it sound like they were in Range Rovers.

Read this twice imagining Porsche going through the motorcycle group

GT4 is a 385hp Cayman that weighs 3,000 lbs. Porsche reports a 7:40 Nurburgring lap. Very sick.

LOL yes he meant "Porsche GT4's flying through, a bunch of motorcycle groups, and some antiques." He's good old fashioned 'Merican, may still be a language barrier though

We were in Conrad Bridge, CT picking my bike up. The roads entering and exiting that area are amazing. Definitely a hike, but with a trailer and a hotel room I'm sure its worth the trip.

Just got my NNE Butler map yesterday. Very cool. Grades rides into G3,G2, G1 with G1 being best. Color-coded and route descriptions on the back.

My boss went to order a GT4, didn't like the Cayman after driving the S version. Came home with a Carrera 4 GTS. Still won't let me drive it....

Yeah western CT up into NE NY are some nice roads. Get too far into NY and watch for log trucks up there.

Were you maybe in Cornwall? There's plenty of good riding roads in that area, and it's not far from Lime Rock Park.

Let me know if you do end up heading out here, I can suggest some good routes and dining spots.

Cornwall Bridge (west of Cornwall); intersection of Rt4/Rt7/Rt45. Kent Road Motorsports is where the bike came from.

We drove by Lime Rock on the way back.
